Hi there everyone! My name is Julianna and I started Well Mannered Frivolity in January 2018 out of a combination of boredom and lack of a creative outlet. I was living in Indianapolis and working my first full time job after grad school when I found myself with a lot of free time. I had always been a writer for myself (journaling and non fiction scribbles) but I’d never written for other people. Blogging had never occurred to me as an activity I’d enjoy. Letting people read my blithering nonsense? No, thanks, bye. But a friend of mine mentioned that she would love to have all of my recipes and I came up with the idea for WMF!
I love to cook and it truly brings me joy to share my family and personal recipes with friends and others. WMF has given me the opportunity to do just that while also allowing me to be creative for the first time in my life. The site started around recipes, but I’ve expanded to include my life as a medical student and my love of beauty, affordable fashion, and travel. Well Mannered Frivolity has become a place for me to share ideas and inspiration and I hope you can feel that as you read.
All ideas on Well Mannered Frivolity and the associated social media profiles are my own and do not reflect the views of my medical school or site of clinical rotations. The blog has no direct affiliation with USF MCOM.
